As a spatial entity, a house transcends its physicality and becomes a container that encompasses time, existence, emotions, and consciousness. In his work the Poetics of Space, Gaston Bachelard states that the entire existence of a house unfolds, remaining faithful to our own existence. With the same gesture, we will push open creaking doors and find our way to distant attics in the darkness.
Through technology and narrative devices, space is redefined, extending its significance, and initiating a game of dialogue between tangible space and intangible self.
